This is a general doubt posted by beginners in civil engineering and who are starting to model or scheme building structures in ETABS or StaadPro.

The kind of doubts civil engineering job aspirants have range from splitting a beam in model to deciding which is the main beam. Many believe that a column is needed at all beam ends.
