How to detail the reinforcement in the Mat footing with Drop slab.
Punching shear at corner and edge column is maximum, so I provide a drop to increase the depth
my question is that how to detail in the drop ??
I have also attached some picture please suggest
Commenting on the 1st image -Is this not a challenge at site for the excavation? Provide it like a pedestal upwards? It will be like an inverted drop panel.
